Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GetThePrice website and application (the "Service") operated by us. By creating an account, connecting a store, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GetThePrice provides workspace-based tools to help merchants analyze competitor pricing, manage price suggestions, and (when you connect Shopify) sync catalog data and push price updates subject to your configuration and our guardrails. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You sign in through our authentication provider (Clerk). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your billing and contact details current.

3. Third-party services

The Service integrates with Shopify (store connection, Admin API for catalog and price updates) and Stripe (subscriptions and billing). Your use of those platforms is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We do not control Shopify or Stripe and are not responsible for their availability or behavior.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful e-commerce pricing and analysis in line with applicable laws and the terms of stores you operate.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' workspaces, data, or our systems; do not probe or circumvent security controls (including cron or webhook authentication).
• Competitor URLs you submit must be public product pages you are entitled to reference; you remain responsible for compliance with applicable scraping, competition, and intellectual-property rules.

5. Subscription and fees

Paid access is handled through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal as presented in the app. Fees, renewal, and cancellation follow the plan you select and Stripe's terms. We may change pricing with advance notice to the extent required by law and your agreement with us.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that price suggestions or automated actions will meet your commercial outcomes. You remain solely responsible for prices published to your storefront and for validating suggestions before approval where applicable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) if you had no fees paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
